Chelsea Sign Falcao On Season Long-Loan Deal

Chelsea FC have completed the signing of Radamel Falcao on a season long loan.

The Stamford Bridge outfit took to their official website to announce that:
"ChelseaFC is delighted to announce we have agreed terms with Monaco for the season-long loan of FALCAO... #CFC"
The 29-year-old, who spent last campaign at Manchester United, will join up with his new teammates on July 19 at their pre-season training camp in Montreal, Canada.

The Colombian ace confirmed the transfer via his official twitter account as he twitted:
"Very happy to join Chelsea and help us look to retain the league title and be successful in Europe."
Falcao experienced a dip in form following his one year loan spell at Manchester United last season as he managed just four goals in his debut season in England.

However, manager Jose Mourinho has suggested that he can bring out the best in the former Atletico Madrid and Porto goal machine.

Mourinho said:
"If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it. It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United."
Falcao is expected to link up with his new Chelsea teammates following Colombia's exit at the Copa America after Linoel Messi's Argentina knocked them out.
