Iwobi felt ill after eating salad with the rest of the Nigeria team. His father has since visited him in hospital according to MTNfootball.

Confirming the news, Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach Samson Siasia said;
He suffered from food poisoning and so was not part of training. His condition is stable.
Iwobi was in line to start Nigeria’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt on Friday night but that now looks unlikely.

But the good news is that Iwobi has just confirmed his safe recovery and wishes to be a part of the match against Egypt.
The legend Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s nephew scored Arsenal's second goal in their victory over Everton FC last weekend in the English premier league.

Safe recovery, Iwobi.
