The Nanny who beat an 18-month-old Ugandan baby to near death has explained why she did it.
Jolly, who is presently awaiting trial in Luzira prison said:
“My dad in Kabale was very sick and my mom did not have any money. I asked my bosses for some money to send to my dad but they told me that I hadn’t made a month yet and my father was dying, so it kept on haunting me. That is the more reason I referred the anger to the baby but I’m sorry.
"But that madam (Arnella’s mom) is not easy. She used to say that I steal money from the clothes and Eric’s wallet, I eat the babies food…and yet I can’t eat the food, I’m not a baby, those were all lies, so, I was also not happy from my heart.
"I feel guilty, ok.. when I was doing it I thought I was disciplining the baby because also the mother sometimes slaps her, I also saw from the mom. The torch I used was small and it’s not hard. I think, I will never do it again.
"Even my fellow prisoners are beating me up. Nobody likes me and I feel bad. I will never do it again. I ask the world to forgive me and also tell the bosses who have maids to treat them well.”
You are sick...only God can forgive you for what you did to the poor child.

ReplyDeletedont care, you are guilty, and wrong, you lucky to be in jail and deserve to be beaten up, that child didnt reserve being treated for your bosses choise or your emotionality. be lucky to have a prison sentence and not a death sentence

ReplyDeleteUnder no circumstances can you ever justify what you did to that innocent little girl. I mean you could have killed that baby. If that was my child or no it would'nt even have to be my child. It can be anybody's child, i would beat you till death. U deserve to be hanged, your head should be chopped off. I mean seriously a innocent baby, I just pray that one day that child will be able to get over what you did to her and that she will live a long and prosperous life. You don't deserve forgiveness, but in the end God will judge you. So do not right stupid letters like this and expect anyone to sympathise with you. #SICKtothe CORE #MYopinion

ReplyDeletei hope you do know that what you did was wrong and that you brought it on your self. you should thank God that that child didnt die. fine, they treated you badly, we get that, but would it not have been better to go and beat your madam instead? i mean that child was innocent. how would you feel if your child was treated that way. we understand that you are sorry, but it wont change wat you did. and its quite clear with the way you were beating her it wasnt the first time. you were used to it. im sorry to say this but you deserve to do time. the one thing you can do to change this is pray, pray that God changes your heart because its filled with bitterness and if you keep it, sooner or later, it will consume you
now, my question is.... what would your excuse be now if the child had died. would you say you are sorry and hope to continue life as normal??
this should be a lesson to all maids. treat your boss's child as your own no matter how much of a witch and evil person she may be. if you cant take it, leave, you have that right. and madams treat your maids well even if you think that they are dirty, scruffy, irresponsible, rude or lazy. appreciate them for the fact that they are there to take care of you children when you are not home, in a way they are your guardian angels for your children's sake. treat them with respect, the same way you would treat a sister. they are very important to you, for your children's sake
No matter what excuse you have it will never make right what you did to that child. Go on your knees and ask God for his mercy and to make you a better person

ReplyDeleteI am disgusted in what u have done to that inoscent baby.....u should get life in prison....sis on u....if a mother hits her child it doesn't give u the right to beat her ( the baby ) almost to death....I don't think anyone could ever trust u again so it will be for the best if u just stay in prison....
ReplyDeleteFor all we know she might be lying. I don't spread hate but you are sick. When I saw the video I cried, my one f***ed up friend laughed. I hate abuse towards children or any one. You being beat up in prison is good and bad. At least you have the heart to say sorry. I forgive you, because the Lord would but you need to show how truly sorry you are. You can't pretend nothing has happened. You can be happy you just get beat up, people won't likely help you if they see you in trouble, but everything you do has a come back. I just say good luck.

ReplyDeleteThis is 1 sick idiot of a woman, for her sake i hope she rather stays in prison because i think the people will really hurt her outside. I agree with the other comment that her fellow prisoners should teach her a lesson that she will never forget. Ooh i hate crazy people like her... God must really help her cause she has a terrible mental problem... So much anger popped up inside me again now just thinking of that sick video so i think its best if i rather log out now...ENJOY PRISON... YOU WITCH....
