President Buhari will head Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Petroleum for about a year, that is according to Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.

In an interview with CNN's business reporter, John Defterios, the Emir of Kano claimed President Buhari's decision to head the petroleum resources sector is to supervise dealings and stabilize it before handing it over to a Minister.

In a related development, Femi Adesina this morning tweeted that President Buhari is not going to be designated as Minister of petroleum resources but will only be supervising the Ministry.
