President Buhari has declared war on South-South militants
President Buhari has declared war on South-South militants

The order followed frequent attacks on vessels, police stations, seafarers including market women by gunmen suspected to be pirates and militants on the Calabar waterways.

This was disclosed by Commander of the 207 Special Mobility Group based in Calabar, Air Commodore Charles Ohwo.

He said the exercise was planned in conjunction with the Navy, Army and police, but led by the Air Force “because of reach and air advantage. Innocent lives were not affected.”

Yes this is a new development.Show them that there is no time for nonsense.Anyone of them that needs his dear life should stop parading himself as militant.During the era of groundnut pyramid in the north, cocoa plantation in the west and other Agricultural harvest in other areas of the country we shared i
t together as one Nigeria so some people should not say because crude oil is found in their area so they are the only beneficiary....no no no I say no to this it belong to all of us.So they should stop their militancy or else they will face hell.Even if we look at it very well it is not all the people in this area that are enjoying what the militants are collecting from govt only their influential sons do....so what are we talking about. GMB show no mercy to whoever call him or her self militant

  17. For the records. During the era of groundnut pyramids in the North, cocoa boom in the West and palm oil bonanza in the East, each of the three Regions - North, East and West retained 50% [Fifty percent] of the resources generated in their areas. This is fact, verifiable fact. What the Niger Deltans are asking for is merely a return to that era of equity and no more. They are not demanding 100% of the resources generated in their area. They merely want the 50% that was given to the regions prior to the military incursion in Nigeria's political affairs. Fair is fair. Give it to them and you will not hear even a whisper of agitation from that area. Right now, they get only 13%. So, that's the problem.

Because it is easier for you and your uncle obasanjo to shed blood of people from south south.

BH which is a big problem today started in little way like child play and our president then call them our "children" and refused to bomb them out of existence. so no child play this time around, as the boko boys are been bombarded day-in and out so also any group of person who chose to constitute threat to over 200 mln Nigerians shall not sleep with their two eyes close

Or if you do not have an insight of what to do i think you should resign because you just complaining and doing nothing. I think there is no change and if it continues this way we will go in circle forever

    ReplyDelete
  37. Please, president don't let people mislead you. Firstly, the people behind boko haram will do everything possible to divert your attention and get you busy with less serious issues since you already made it known you will deal with them. Every day we hear and read about killings and bombing of innocent Nigerian by boko haram. You promised Nigerians and rest of the world that you will clear the menace in no time if voted into power. We have fulfill our own side and voted you in but your own side is yet to be fulfilled. Please, note that South-South pirates/militant issue is not a substitute for boko hamam defeat. If you must abandon boko haram for the South-South pirates, it is even better to face the bigger pirates in government ministries and parastatal who have been siphoning our oil money for their personal use. Stop wasting those expensive bombs in the creek because 'am not sure it will hit anybody other than ghosts! Concentrate the bombs on the real enemies of Nigeria - those that kills the children, rape the women and renders less privileged Nigerians homeless and turns them to refugees in their country. It is better to defend the less privileged first before focusing on issues that affects the elites and the money bags! after-all, after all the sweat major part of the oil money will still be cornered by them.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Pro-active measure against a militant is the best way to decapitated them, before the grow to something else. The immediate past administration had made a mistake of putting political values before the lives of innocent Nigerians, eventually it becomes a thorn in their paw even a factor that lead to their lost in election. SAVE THE INNOCENTS PMB, BUT KICK THE BAD GUYS BY THEIR ASS...

    ReplyDelete
  39. The greatest mistake of GMB is to open another front in the Niger Delta! If the Nigerian army can't defeat Boko Haram in the North, fighting Niger Delta militants will be suicide! Make no fuss about it! The Niger Delta boys will use their oil resources to buy weapons and ammunitions to teach Nigeria a lesson she will never forget in a hurry! This is the onset of the breakup predicted by the Americans!

  42. I wish to thank Mr president for his action towards the problem in South South well done Mr. president but please before embarking on such operation please think, reflect, consult and above all be objective in your actions to avoid the violation of human right. Try to work with social scientists in the country if there is any to look into matters of this kind, analyze them to see the better way to approach such dilemma. I think it is time for our social scientists and political annalists to wake from their sleeps and practice their profession to ensure a better Nigeria. Please my dear Mr president don't act like young man but use your wisdom as an elder to rule our dear country Nigeria. Remove emotions they are no longer part of you please. To my fellow Nigerians please do not approach political issues with an unorganized reason and emotion, did the president look first the cause of the problem for acting or is he trying to create more wounds in the lives of many Nigerians as we have not been healed from the traumatic experiences of the so called Boko-Haram

He wants to run this country along with his Hausa brothers: just a few persons. In the end, there will be calamity. Mark these words. This is no prophecy as the matter is as clear as water, you could see through. Oh we are so blind we can't see, so dull we can't discern.

  51. Buhari agender for Nigeria is to Islamise Nigeria. He is a chief sponsorer of Boko Haram. Now that he is in power, He has joined Nigerian forces with Boko Haram to fight Jehad in Nigeria. When Boko Haram was spreading to the South Easth, Goodluck stopped them by mounting road blocks with soldiers, within one month of Buhari in power, He dismantled the road blocks for free flow of Boko Haram to the rest part of the country. As if that was not enough, He selected Boko Haram prisoners in the North and relocated them to the South Easth. Now using Nigeria Airforce to bomb Niger Delta. What a shame? This is actally a dance of shame. All Christians and all Southernans! open your eyes, be watchfull and go into prayer. Nigeria is in trouble for voting Boko Haram into power.

  55. I want to believe that this news is not real because if actually there is an element of truth in this then PMB is towing a wrong path. Niger Delta is the "wrongest" place to fight presently. Our oil income is dwindling due to the fall in the global oil market. Fighting the Niger Delta now will further dwindle this our single source of income. I am sorry for those who write comments without taking into cognizance the terrain in the Delta; you can't fight there and win without burning your own fingers.

  56. buhari is a big failure and all nigerians are big liars.point to note there is nothing like that word corruption because its just human nature so don't be deceived when failure buhari say he is fighting corruption ask him this question sir can you fight your shadow and if he answers you then ask him about the chibbok girls he said he was going to release what has he done so far to release them.although i dont really blame him i blame my man president goodluck Johnathan for loosing in the first place because buhari forged common waec and would have been jailed or silently sent to see dagrin because we are all blacks and we should do things in a black mans style conciding defeat is not a thing of the black cos we all don't deserve itwatch and see the next election that will be conducted under this man you will no that what johna did is only done in the white mans land and he will be the first and the last to do such for blacks.
