SHOCKING: Buhari Weeps After Seeing How N3.1Trillion Was Stolen By Presidency

- Buhari almost lost his cool after realising how much the past administration had looted
- The funds were “supposed to be proceeds from some of the crude oil sold on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria”.

President Muhammadu Buhari weeps, Buhari cries for Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari, who had thought that he had seen the worst of how corrupt practices have in the last few years brought Nigeria to her knees, last week, almost lost his cool when it was brought to his attention that a whopping $16billion – at the official exchange rate of N196, this comes to N3.136 trillion; while, with the parallel market rate of N315, it comes to a whopping N5.04trillion – of the nation’s crude oil revenue loss could be traced to some sharp practices by some individuals in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The quantum of funds in question are revenue that ought to have accrued to Federal Government through oil-lifting deals which are now subject of intensive investigations.

Specifically, one of the arrow heads of the crude oil lifting scam...
who has been invited and interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at least twice before, has been granted administrative bail, and “who is alleged to be warehousing a sizable chunk of the money, drew the ire of Mr. President”, an Aso Rock Presidential Villa source disclosed.

According to Vanguard, even visiting South African President, Jacob Zuma, was caught in the cross winds of Buhari’s reinvigorated anti-graft stand, as he said every kobo of the stolen funds must be recovered.

Similarly, information suggests that the United States government is helping in the provision of intelligence on how to trace some of the stolen funds from Nigeria that were secretly moved out.

Benin Republic and South Africa have both become safe havens for Nigeria’s stolen funds.

$16BILLION

According to Aso Rock insiders, the funds were..
..supposed to be proceeds from some of the crude oil sold on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria by these people and for which they were said not to have made the necessary returns to the coffers of the country.
Continuing, one of the sources said:
You needed to have been there. You needed to have seen Mr. President. He was almost moved to tears at the colossal fraud that had taken place in the country.
He became dejected because at a time when the nation’s resources had gone down badly, at a time when the foreign reserves are also not as much as would be befitting of a nation with vast potentials, such a huge amount of money can be traced to the illegal activities of some people.
But Mr. President has ordered that every kobo must be recovered. Whatever it takes, he has made it clear that those funds must be recovered.

Records of the oil-lifting schedules, timelines of transactions as well as proceeds that were meant to have accrued to government, the source said..
“..showed that some people just constituted themselves into a parallel government and were just making away with the nation’s resources.”
TRACING STOLEN FUNDS

Powerful forces in the Goodluck Jonathan's presidency were neck deep in the mindless looting. As part of its bilateral agreement on intelligence sharing and anti-money laundering surveillance, the US government is collaborating with the Buhari administration on how to trace some of the stolen funds.

It was discovered that whereas the Federal Government has relaxed its forex policy, there has been a heavy movement of cash (in dollars) from Benin Republic back into the system in Nigeria.

The simmering diplomatic row between Nigeria and South Africa, sources disclosed, has more to do with the seeming unwillingness of the South African government to repatriate alleged stolen funds that have been traced to that country.
This was part of what President Zuma came to resolve with Nigeria during his visit last week.

  1. For the love of money is the root of all evils. Nigerian politicians need not to live on the soil of this nation because they do not deserve mercy they their inner plans is to sink the country economically and put the masses in a perpetual suffering. Do such persons deserve to live? People that have no love for their own country? Oh No!

  2. What baffles me is that some of us that have been impoverished by the actions of the looters, still support the looters and find ways of rationalizing their actions. Does this mean that corruption is endemic and rooted in our cultures? Let's have a referendum whereby those who love corruption can be separated from those who detest corruption. We must stop these looters to save the country Nigeria.

  4. I can understand better now why Buhari insisted on becoming our President. He saw everything that was happening. He wept during his campaign at Abuja when he realized that he might not be allowed to get to that position. Lo and behold, God intervened and he is there now. Things are unfolding. Wicked , Greedy Nigerians have drained us dry. However, I love Buhari for his uprightness not his party nor his party members. PDP mixing up with APC as it is happening now is a bad signal. Buhari needs to be more focused and careful of his followers. God bless the Federal Republic Of Nigeria. Let us continue to pray for our Dear President for God's protection.

  10. this people do not deserve to live Buhari should fetched them out and make sure he kill them, you know why? with the way Buhari is going this people will make sure he never return to power comes 2019 in fact, they may likely form another party and pushed him out, now that he have the time if he really want to do Nigerians good, let him kill some by hanging and some by other means, because if he jail them when he is gone the same people will be release by their accomplice that will take over power from him (Buhari) and still go back to their position and continue with what they are best known for( stealing)then all that Buhari is doing now will be in vain.

    1. Why are we deceiving ourselves, there's a lot of looting in both the presidency and the ruling party. The masses are been deceived by this corruption change mantra. If FG want to fight corrupt leaders, they should not be sectional so that Nigerians would belief and support them not just by selecting. Are you saying that those money recovered from the looters cannot be utilized at least to increase power generations that has reduced to it's barest minimum. So, what are we saying, please wise up guys.

  11. How can Bhuari arrest them when he has them appointed into his cabinet. Until he arrest Tinubu, Amaechi, Fashola and co, all he's doing as far as we're concerned will just be cosmetics whether you like it or not.

  12. I wish Mr Buhari is Gen. Buhari. I wish you were still a Millitary Administrator. All this nonsense of playing by the rules, party loyalty etc would not be slowing you down. But our prayers are with you, and may your plans be blessed by God almighty who upholds the righteous for His Name sake. Mr President, please try and make a path for Justice to reign of this country, so that Justice is speedily served. While doing this, may God help us to find someone who can continue in your manner. This is my worst fear, that after you, this fight could not continue.

  13. For me, arresting Jonathan is a clear sign of war that will emanate from Niger Delta. I love the cleansing but let fmr president OBJ, Tinunbu, Amaechi, etc. recover their loots, then I will believe that this GOVT is sincere in fighting corruption.

  14. At-least present and past administrations have recovered alot of money for this country.. my greatest surprise is that, where is this money? Raining season is on, there is no fertilizer in the market? We did not see any company working well..... I mean what is the meaning of this fight of corruption to a common-man. We are paying for NEPA bill, we did not consume; our security personnel still hang on the road to collect N100 or more from the road users.. Ordinary Nigerians is tired of this corrupt fighting it is a good step but the manner and result of the fighting is other way round.

  15. Babangida, Obasanjo, Amaechi, Tinubu, have all looted the funds of Nigeria when they were president and governors of their various states, they have houses abroad, some of them built refineries and hotels in many Africa and European countries abroad, they also have oil blocks in Nigeria, they have billions of naira and dollars in their under ground tanks in the bunkers and secret over head tanks in their hidden houses in parts of the country, they are responsible for the failure of Nigerian economy and they looted Nigeria and killed the institution of government through their corruption and 419 activities, Buhari should arrest them and send them to Kuje prison for life in imprisonment with hard labour, without option of bail. Buhari should seize their properties and freeze their account in foreign countries and in Nigerian banks, that is the CHANGE and real anti corruption.

  17. the structure is a bad one abnitio, prebendal and patrimonial politics of sentiments is the reason you see that even an unemployed graduate who can barely feed himself will come out trying to rationalize the corrupt act of his tribal man. what a pitiable dismal, what a shame, what an irony, in a country that is suppose to be in affluent suffering from even the very natural resources that God has bless them with. i think the beautiful ones re yet to be born in this part of the world because even the youth i see re worst than their elders. i mourn for this country.

  19. There is no way Good Luck will be arrested and this country will remain in peace.Listen wisdom is profitable to direct. This thing is not bold face i will deal with any corrupt Nigeria. Be just in arresting all past corrupt leaders and president then GEJ.if not that will be the end of this administration. Except God's hand will be in the arrest of Jonathan,if not it will either fail or scatter this country.Even if you are a STRONG MAN there are places you don't go and things you don't do.You can only reach out to those places with wisdom so that you wont die before your time.Lets tell ourselves the blunt truth, if God were to be the president of this country will He arrest some corrupt persons and avoid some? If that happens it means He is UNJUST.So no matter how Mr President sound the trumpet of war against corruption and frowns at it, if he fails to arrest those corrupt in his cabinet, past leaders and presidents but goes selective it means he is only a liar, joker, fake and himself corrupt.Because the fear of another man is corruption. Secondly he should not make his government a one sided government but remember to be a president of the poor and needy. They should quite saying they cant perform miracle over night and use mistakes of past government to hid their failures and inadequacies, because during their campaign they promised Nigerians to take them to the promise land. Instead start doing something now, that is the way forward.

  20. WHETHER CULPRIT IS PDP OR APC OR ANY OTHER PARTY DOES NOT MATTER. WHAT THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO IS TO RECOVER THE FUNDS WHETHER IN THE AIR, SEA OR LAND USING THE POLICY OF NO MATTER THE IDENTITY OF THE THIEF.

  21. All this public outcry per looting and stealing that amounts to nought is just theatrical and appears to be the only thing uniting APC. Go after the thieves secretly so they don't know your plans. Meanwhile, provide the basic essentials for your citizens such as power and security while we pray for the success of this country.

  23. The overall goal of the five year, Cdn.$15.9 m Youth Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Access and Development
project is to promote youth employment and entrepreneurship in natural resource sectors of agriculture,
forestry, ecotourism and aquaculture in all 18 Local Government Areas in Cross River State (CRS), in line with
the CRS government’s comprehensive vision to address high youth unemployment and rural-urban drift of
young women and men in priority sectors which promote sustainable economic growth. The project aims to
reduce youth unemployment by improving entrepreneurial and labour force capacities of young women and
men, as well as the policies, regulations and enabling environment required to create jobs and economic
opportunities in natural resources. This will be achieved in two ways. First, through capacity building of
partners and stakeholders (CRS Ministries, Departments and Agencies; CSOs; training organizations and youth
resource centres) to deliver skills training in entrepreneurship, as well as support to young women and men
entrepreneurs through improved financial services and products. And second, through strengthening the
policy framework, and collaboration on promoting ‘green jobs in a green economy’.
    1. Background: Cross River State, in south-eastern Nigeria, is set apart by its rich ecosystem diversity –
mangrove and swamp forest in the south, tropical high forest in the south and central regions, and savanna
woodland in the north. It is one of the most richly endowed agricultural lands in Nigeria, with plantations
producing cocoa, rubber and oil palm for export along with food crops for local consumption. However, CRS
ecosystems are coming under increasing pressure from the human communities that derive their livelihoods
from the natural resource sectors. This is especially critical because of the State’s huge population of young
people constituting 1.11 million of the State’s 3.45 million residents. It is estimated that 40-50% of these young
    people are unemployed or under-employed.
In response to these issues, the CRS government has shifted its approach to the management of the state’s
economy by focusing on the development of policies and partnerships to support growth in agriculture,
manufacturing, tourism and the service sectors while protecting the State’s natural resources. This is coupled
with CRS investment in technical education incorporating entrepreneurship training, and in services to support
the growth of small and medium sized enterprises with a focus on youth employment.
